Some updates... By that, it only means inserting photos of food, okay can, good job Jane.

So about two weeks back (19th September), I tried Morganfield's which was famous for ribs I guessed. The environment was quite nice (I like the wall decorations like the picture of 'Free beer tomorrow' hahaha I still remember the joke/statement of how tomorrow never comes) and the service was not bad I guess.

Beer battered fish
Honey Rum Sticky Bones
Chocolate lava cake

I honestly think the serving size is damn huge :O Food coma (as usual hahaha). You can really kind of taste the beer in the fish hmm, and the fish was pretty good. Like usually will get sick of the fish when I order fish &chips (especially Manhattan's one I have no idea why, that's why I never ever managed to finish fish & chips from there). The sticky bones was pretty good too! Like quite tender I guess, but I can't really taste the honey or rum :/ And the lava cake was amazingggg hahaha, not too sweet but it didn't really flow a lot. Don't be fooled by the picture, it's not that small (cause I couldn't finish it SURPRISE)

Saturday was spent at Actors the Jam Bar. HAHA first bar trip with the clique. Or technically the second if you considered Timbre outing which was damn fail hahaha. Drank apple cider only as usual hahaha. Okay tried Scotch Whiskey which was... not very nice on its own. Hmm wanted to try Kahlua (coffee liqueur omggg) but didn't haha. And it's really nice to see how angmohs are not afraid of being themselves in public. Like singing loudly. Er, while I continue to awkwardly sing hahaha.

Week 7 was the week when I have another presentation- Strategic Management. Really have no idea what I am learning from this module shittttzzz cause the finals makes up 50% of the grade ): Sigh, saddest part of exchange is that NTU did not allow me to clear this mod.

And had Jap food for lunch at Can B/Koufu whatever you wish to call it and omg the pork sucks. DO NOT EVER TRY THAT. The taste was weird.

Friday is seriously my good food day hahaha. Travelled all the way to Bukit Merah (in case you don't know where Bukit Merah is, it's near Queenstown/Redhill)

Normal tasting cheese fries, reminds me of KFC cheese fries too hahaha
(why the chicken wings look so sad here?) But yes, this is the main attraction of the place. Supposedly one of the best chicken wings in SG, oh and yeah I think this is really not bad :)
Snack platter consisting of chicken tenders, onion rings and some popiah like thing. Oh and the raw carrots and cucumbers HAHA, Carrots when raw are erm... And the sauce is like similar to chicken rice chili hahaha

Felt so guilty for eating all the fattening food and then I had salad from Isetan ^^ Kind of love eating salad but why are salads so expensive in SG? Hmm. But the salad from Isetan wasn't that expensive. $4.50 for a small box (which I had three slices of salmon ILYSM salmon hahaha)

Saturday when I attempted to study at the library. Why are there so many secondary school kids at the library :O

Four fingers (finally)
Can't believe the first time I tried this will be at the airport. Really not bad, makes KFC chicken so bad in comparison haha (okay I used to love eating their Tom Yum chicken which was available damn long ago) Calamari rings were normal I guess hmm.

Sending people off at the airport always remind me of my exchange days. Missing those days of freedom when I am only concerned about food. (Okay not that I am concerned over anything much these days cause I am so slack :( ) But yes, exchange days. Like reminded of how sad my mum looked when I left for HK. But hey, time flies and I am back already for like four months?! :O And staring at photos of friends on exchange/studying overseas :( Sidenote, HK's situation doesn't seem very positive now though  hmm.

Recess week is finally here! Last year recess week I was celebrating it by catching The Fray live while drinking Guinness' stout haha. That moment when I heard Never Say Never live ahhh

Some day must catch All Time Low, The Script and Maroon 5 live hmm.

It always strikes me as true that most people are hardest on themselves. We are our loudest critics, our worst enemies; our very own nemesis is staring back at us in the mirror. And this is especially true in moments where we need to be a friend to ourselves. How many nights have we spent thinking, “What is wrong with me?” when someone doesn’t return the affection we tried to give? How many times have we harmed our emotional and psychological well-being by holding desperately onto something long after it has been over? How many times have we felt less than, simply because someone couldn’t see us the way those who love us do? The answer, I think, is far too often.
But what if you heard someone you loved crying at night because the person they wanted didn’t want them back? What if they told you they feel like no one is going to ever love them? What if they told you they just can’t seem to get anything right with this whole love thing? You’d probably tell them they’re beautiful, wouldn’t you? You’d probably tell them that sometimes disappointments are a blessing in disguise. You’d probably tell them that if they keep on keeping on and being the best they can be, and having a heart that is full of life and open to love, things somehow will work out.
All of this is what you should be telling yourself too. Because you are worthy of all the kindness, love, patience, and respect you give your loved ones; in any and all moments, but especially in the moments when love has made you feel less than.

Sharing this cause I think this is pretty true. Not that anyone I know that needs this currently.
Recess week sooooooon. Project week you mean?

So... It's like around 1/3 of the semester has passed. Survived week 5 with two presentations. Not too bad, considering I was sick with flu and fever one day before Tourism presentation :O Why is my immune system so weak ): And before having flu and fever, I was suffering from a huge ulcer in week 4 daaaaamn.

Avocado and Baileys Chocolate Chip icecream with waffles at The Daily Scoop. Kind of sad that Mao Shan Wang and Rum and Raisin wasn't available :( I shall be back someday for them ^^ so many new icecream places popping up (of nowhere) like Holycow Creamery (at Yishun) and Mootime (opposite SSC). So yaaay to potential new icecream hangout places in the North. But I guess this Holycow creamery is gonna be crowded sooner or later hmph. Just like how I possibly need to wait for the craze over Sunday Folks to be over before I can try it.

And no, I am not eating good food every week. It's just projects zaps too much energy from everyone kay.

Random note, I finally tried Tokyo Chicken Stew and Pumpkin soup from Soup Spoon. Both are pretty good. Haha okay I am lag but as a creature of habit (I am a risk averse human sigh), I have always stuck with the same few soups.

And I guess I really can't go back to those days when I love drinking frappes like white chocolate mocha/dark mocha/caramel etc cause they are all too sweet to me FML. Doing project at CBTL and I can't even stand how sweet normal mocha is. CAPPUCCINO WHOLE DAY EVERYDAY.

Photo with the group after Tuesday's presentation. Taking some frauds module as an elective and not regretting it cause the prof is so entertaining. One of my favourite profs :> Ahhh he is such a achiever that I feel so guilty about myself. I mean, what CFO working in HK, hold talks for people, teaches three classes at NTU, how do one even do that? Sleep at 5am?! I wish I have the passion to do something like this in the future seriously.
Passion. I don't even know whether I want to work in FCMG :( Everyone's into Unilever... I mean their corporate ethics is good but do I really know what they are doing?

Ahhh ethics. Realising I love all books that hints at ethics. Like Jodi Picoult's books. My sister's keeper, whether you should keep your right to your body and sacrifice your sister ahhh. IBE class always make me feel that I am so naive at times. But still loving it and it makes me feel like doing a masters in International Business HAHAHA. Nice to see me liking what I do? Yeaaaah, I probably like it cause it's not purely business. Like it involves concepts from like Sociology, Political Science, Economics etc. See how much I dislike pure business modules like Strategic Management. Really not a big picture person daaaaamn, how am I going to lead in the workforce someday?

Glad that Week 5 is over. Wasn't the way I wanted it to end but what to do?

Been seeing a lot of matcha lava cakes on Instagram and Babette's one look so good omggg. Why are lava cakes so expensive :'(

For a closer alternative, head to Sync Korean Fusion Bistro at Westgate (haha). There's lunch set meals which cost $7.90 for an appetizer and main course! If you pay $9.90, you can get a selected dessert on top of that. But since our main purpose was the matcha lava cake, we didn't get the $9.90 set.

For appetizer, there was the choice of pumpkin soup or summer salad. Perks of NOT eating alone, get to try both :> For the main course, there was K-pork stew, Bibimpap and Japchae. I always love eating Japchae actually but let me be healthy for once HAHAHA. So I ate Bibimpap. All these main courses cost like around $15 usually so yes the lunch deals were extremely attractive.

Expensive dessert which cost $10 omggg. But goood. Matcha lava cake I LOVE YOU.
The chocolate sauce was too sweet so maybe one should consider making a special order- having no chocolate sauce.

Saturday was spent singing Teoheng and having dinner with the clique. Everytime when I sing K, I realised there's a list of songs I will want to sing to...

  1. 分手快乐
  2. 寂寞寂寞就好
  3. 明明就
  4. 散场的拥抱
Please recommend me sad break up songs okaaay, I love them HAHAHA.

And then had a longggg dinner at Just Acia. Yaaay to free flow ice-cream. And guy friends who are so enthusiastic about school work when I am just like, nuaing still daaaamn it.

Fish and wedges from Pitchstop. I wanted Salmon and scrambled eggs which is supposedly an all day breakfast meal but they don't offer it during lunch hour. Feeling scammed.

Sea-food pizza :)

The pitchstop gathering took place after a horrible lesson of strategic management. Hate it when I feel like don't learn anything during lessons. Can you make up your mind about the points SIGHHH TSK.

Trying food from M&S cause I saw on Instagram and someone was raving about it.

After knowing each other for like four years, we only ate our first Chinese meal together on that day. I always like double boiled soups hehe, easily pleased please!

Walked around JE, played with selfie stick and caught Lucy which wasn't a good movie to watch just in case you are wondering.
Didn't order a lot but as usual SG's dimsum is so much more expensive. Love the prawn dumpling and liushabao. I want to try the bo luo bun and egg tarts someday! I am missing OneDimSum's chee cheong fun wrapped around dough fritters!

HAHA dessert for fun^^

The lovely company. So jealous of people on exchange now. :(

Gardens by the Bay was so damn crowded but I think the crowd controllers were doing a good job (: Offering people water and drinks, not bad.

Important note, orchid vanilla icecream does not really taste like orchids. But wait, how do orchids taste like?

“I fear oblivion,” he said without a moment’s pause.
“I fear it like the proverbial blind man who’s afraid of the dark.”

I have always thought the fear of oblivion as absurd but I guess I understand his point of view. I don't want to be ordinary anymore. Everyone's talking about which company they want to join and I don't have much idea what I want. I thought knowing what I don't want was sufficient but I guess not. Tell me, who doesn't want to work for P&G, Unilever etc? They are the biggest marketing related marketing companies. I don't have any fascinating GPA or any stellar record sadly. I really want to do something big as well. Something that people will remember it or be thankful for.

The idea of being ordinary scares me so much. Like the idea of drifting through life as a typical OL. Hmm.

Salmon-don from Ichiban plus someone's favourite tamago as usual haha. SALMON ILYSM.
Freaking awesome yongtaufoo at AMK. LOVE the soup and chilli but queue omggg.

And then it was weekends yaaaay. Batam trip with the clique. First overseas trip ever with We <3 nbsp="">
Batam here we come!

First meal at Batam, at the hotel restaurant. Stayed at Novotel, with a supposed sea-view. Anyway, this chicken is like one of the most spicy food I have ever eaten in my life. Feeling cheated by the green chilli!

Yeah, hi sea view tsk.

Chilled at the room before we headed to BCS mall which we were initially excited about shopping. But the clothes weren't that pretty. Actually saw something that I was super in love with. Some cute romper but freak why is it backless. :(

Oh look what I had before shopping begins. Pistachio with almond. Taste a little weird though.

Shopping wasn't productive haha. Well, arcades are more interesting right. Can't believe I went to play with the bumper car. I want to drive a real car instead leh.
Played these for three times I think?

Was pretty bored and then went for manicure hahaha. #bimboconcerns

Pretty nails, which didn't last more than a few days before chipping. Maybe should have done gel.

It was really late when the girls are done with the manicure session. Stopped by a food place in BCS mall for food.

Ayam Penyet cause what's Indonesia without my favourite ayam penyet?
But why the chicken so small!!

Oh I ordered Avocado too but was pretty disappointed with it. Prefer Singapore's ones! I have no idea why Avocado taste funny everywhere else (yes, TW one wasnt nice too leh)

Grocery shopping and I love banana chips ^^ And was misled into thinking Bika does not exist in Singapore. It does omgggg. And drinking games at night. Really love Apple Cider :) But gosh beer (all types of beer except maybe Guinness sucks, wait Guinness is stout so it's different)

Finished playing and then K.O all the way till the next morning hahaha.

Camwhoring with the $3/person sea view we got. LOL.

Headed to Nagoya Hill shopping mall for A&W, J.CO donuts and last minute shopping.

What's A&W without root beer float right?

Anyway, I think I am over the sweet donuts crazy days. Can't seem to stand donuts. Everyone was happily lugging donuts back but I am like, argh no thanks HAHA. Can't believe I used to happily eat Oreo donuts once a week and was skinny DAAAAMN.

Ate Magmum icecream cause it's freaking cheap there. $1++? WHY YOU SO EXPENSIVE IN SINGAPORE. And omg there was Haagen Daaz sandwich icecream!!! But not cheap, but I miss you leh, SIGH.

And bought kueh lapis cause I love kueh lapis but apparently wasn't nice according to Mum oh well, sigh :(

Being a year 3 feels so unreal at times. Like I don't even know what I want. Is it weird to say that I fear oblivion too? Hmm, shall go and sleep and not dwell too much on it for now.
