What do you do when your heart's in two places?
You feel great but you're torn inside.

Hate how rainy days ruin plans. And how old memories go hand in hand with rainy days.
And I guess not everything can be fixed. And wants to be fixed.

Alone time is so needed.

17th March-23rd March

Little Bangkok on 18th March, Tuesday
Attempted to study from 11am-6pm. Okay not continously, went for lunch for around 1 hour, project meeting of around 2 hours.. Then decided to YOLO and go out for dinner despite being relatively unprepared for my quiz.

Headed to Kowloon City, which was famous for Thai food. Come check out the dishes we ordered :)
Hey Kang Kong, I have missed you so much :') Not spicy enough though haha.

Phad Thai (?) I think the random one at my house coffeeshop taste better hahaha. Cause this isnt spicy enough I guess. And I love peanuts, okay random.

Green curry, best thing to eat with rice :)

Tom Yum soup! My favourite thing when it comes to Thai Food. (Oh maybe second favourite cause I love Thai Milk tea hehe) This isnt that spicy also oh well.

Pineapple fried rice which tasted normal.

Was extremely full as usual oh well. Didnt have space for desserts. Mango sticky rice :(

Teawood on 20th March, Thursday

This cafe was super famous for its toast with ice cream judging from Openrice and Instagram. There was a long queue when we arrived at around 7pm..

Toast looking delicious but the taste wasn't amazing :(

The beef brisket noodles was too salty, the chicken's serving size was super small, green tea red bean cake didn't have much red bean. And my taro milk tea didn't taste good as well :( Taro milk tea from Sharetea beats it hands down please hahaha.

The environment was pretty nice, but there's a time limit of 90 minutes like Coffee Alley.. But Coffee Alley is more worth it!! Queue for Coffee Alley if you wanna go to a cafe. Huge, generous serving size and food tasted really good. Worth the price! And love the matcha milk there. Matcha loveeee.

Gotta love cafe hopping with the girls :) Skipped Cantonese to study for retail management, but in the end skipped the studying part to go to this cafe LOL.

Tai O on 23rd March, Sunday

Tai O is a fishing village located at Lantau Island which is famous for like spotting pink dolphins! Took a bus to Tai O via Central and then took a ship cause it was supposed to be the best time for dolphins viewing... And paid HKD20 for a 20 mins ride which I didn't see anything :(
Sighhhhh.

Went for hiking in hope to reach the infinity pool but didn't manage to reach there :( was a crazy hike up cause the slopes were steeeeeeep. And numerous homg. Lucky my legs didn't ache haha.

Ooh check out the gigantic squid hahaha.

And we met a bull homggggg.

Closest experience with a bull. Was already amazed when we get to drive past bull in Malaysia hahaha.

Walked a little around the outlet shopping centre before heading to sushi one for half priced sushi again. Love love love sashimi yaaaaay. Thick slices omnomnom. The joy when you see how three pieces which used to cost SGD5 cost 2.50 after 10pm ^^

Feelings & Thoughts

Exchange is such a funny thing. How do you differentiate whether it's just companionship or anything more? Crazy people, hahaha.

10th March- 16th March

First time frying vegetable all by myself on 13th March, Thursday

Well, cuiiii in the end the vegetable wasn't very well-cooked :( But I shall practise more at home. :) Must learn how to make double-boiled soup! :)

Dying hair on 14th March, Friday

Well well, I dyed my hair for the first time woohoo. Purple and I think I look slightly ahlian under the sun hahaa. Too bright. But just skyped my parents and they totally didnt realise hahaha.

Wanted to dip dye my hair but the salon was about to close. LOL CUIII. I rushed there after class. What an impulsive decision but hey, I am liking my hair colour now :)

PA hmm. I wonder if they will allow me to keep it haha. But no one even contact me for PA. WHY OH WHY?

Ocean Park on 15th March, Saturday
Say hi to my company :)

Managed to go on so many rides. Like Free fall (yes I really love free fall, that awesome split second when you are falling is so shiok hehe) and managed to conquer Viking again (ever since traumatic sec 2 experience where I puked my guts out)
Before conquering viking. Really hate how Viking feels hahaha. Yesss, I think that's the scariest ride!!

Conquering the Hair Raiser/Riser? Hehehe proud of all us.

Look at our stockings hehe. Retarded much, but hey, you are only young once and no one knows us anyway woohoo

Remember my old whatsapp profile picture? It was a picture with a small fish, now I can have a picture with a stingray, how nice ^^

Dinner at Dim Sum Bar, TST on 15th March, Saturday

Finally had liushabao again ^^ Which was normal only :(

Actually went there cause I saw pictures of taro bun on Openrice and Instagram to find out it was replaced by almond buns :( Oh well, my love for taro SIGH

Think I left the hardworking and cool-headed me in Singapore :O

"我知道被疼是一種運氣 但我無法完全交出自己"

Bye, time for emo songs and notes and a hot cup of green tea. Burn fats burn.

24th Feb- 9th March

Shopping at Kwai Fong and 通达食店 at Yau Ma Tei on 25th Feb, Tuesday

Shopping buddies, together with the chocobanana crepe we shared :)

Bought a nice, kind of smart casual looking white long sleeve shirt cause the material was super shiok, a black shorts, denim shirt, shoulder bag and spent around S$50 omgggg. Shopping (and food) sucks away all my money omggg :'(

Anyway, the shopping area feel likes Far East hehe. And oh, all the food choices in the top level, I LIKE. Fruit juice! Super miss Avocado juice, can't seem to find it anywhere. And my kiwi soursop!
And guess what, there's a shop selling 5 scoops of icecream for S$2. Spotted rum&raisin flavour there, must head back there someday!

Wanted to try 伤心酸辣粉 which was near Yau Ma Tei but in the end we spotted the 通达食店 outside the MTR exit and decided to give it a try cause there were quite a few locals queuing outside the shop. And the decision proved to be correct :)

Chee Cheong Fun with peanut sauce and sweet sauce ^^ Reminds me of Singapore's chee cheong fun with the sweet sauce!

We had curry fishball and some other mixed noodles which was not bad.

Coffee Alley at Causeway Bay on 3rd March, Monday

Pork loin croissant

Matcha milk

Green tea ice-cream, red bean and waffles

Strawberries, custard and waffles

The serving size at this shop is crazily hugeeee. Please don't make the same mistake as us in order one dish per person :O SUPER BLOATED OMG. Anyway, the matcha milk here is so good!! I didn't really like the strawberries waffle cause I thought the custard tasted weird but everyone else loved it, okaycan. Oh and the place is famous for fruit tea so fans of tea can go and try it too haha.

Cafe hopping burns a hole in everyone's pocket sigh pie :(

Peng Chau on 4th March, Tuesday

Peng Chau is not a very pretty island but it does offer some nice views I guess. Loving HK for the fact that you can always hop a ferry to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city :)

Tried the shrimp toast which was supposed to be famous there which I found it not bad but not fantastic. Oh and I finally tried the legendary Haagen Daz icecream sandwich ^^ And Tai Cheong's bakery egg tarts omnomnom.

Oh eggtart, you're so fine, you're so fine, you blow my mind. Hey eggtart, hey eggtart.

I feel so lame now hahaha. But this eggtart is pretty good in terms of the egg custard part. Still prefer my eggtarts to have a more buttery crust haha.

Headed to One Dim Sum for dinner where I finally had normal serving sized meals omggg. Can't eat with the guys who make me feel like I am going to burst/puke after each meal hahaha. Anyway really really love One Dim Sum's chicken feet hehe.

Dinner on 7th March, Friday

Homecooked curry chicken ^^ Okay wasn't a great help as usual, only managed to wash vegetables, peel and chop potatoes only haha.

Freaking loads of vegetables but I likeee. Okay the vegetables were supposed to be in the curry but the pot couldn't hold any more vegetables hahaha.

Feelings
Was forced to, or kind of forced to wait for half an hour on Weds for the rest of them. Was slightly angsty, but that was really a blessing in disguise. Been hanging out with people for so long, didn't even have much alone time. Till that 30 minutes. Straightened out my thoughts a little. And then a good HTHT with a close friend straightened out my thoughts even more (is there such a phrase?)
"It's cool how you are still level-headed and rational"

Another realisation of how I didn't really keep in contact with everyone. It's kind of hard to maintain contact with all my friends hmm. So if I don't message you, please message me still! :/

Oh and don't worry if anyone is worrying. Having loads of fun here cause my life consists of eating, running, eating, studying, eating and sleeping hahaha that explains my belly fats wth. Okay anyway it's kind of amazing how all of us already spent like two months together overseas, seeing each other almost every single day. Like wow.
And maybe everyone's just getting used to everyone's company.

Good night and good bye till the next post :) Work is coming in SIGH PIE, no more hanging out at fun places during Tuesday :(
