Macau trip on Monday

Macau has really pretty blue skies.
And the infrastructure does make you feel like you are in Europe. Except the weather is really warm. And I thought I was appropriately dressed without tights... Which was proven wrong (explained later)

Macau is just full of casinos everywhere. Which all of them checked my passport except for one.

Finally reached St Paul ruins after walking upslope for so looooong. The place where everyone is photobombing everyone's else photos.

Bad choice to travel to Macau during CNY. So crowded everywhere :(
Went to Venetian Macau. Can't go to Venice? No worry, go the fake venice and eat awesome egg tarts from Lord Stow first.

Bought almond cookies and tried so much food to realise HK island has the same shop, watched people do bungee jump and felt like doing it but it's so expensive (sigh). Headed back to the ferry terminal at around 7pm and omg, earliest ferry ride was 3am :O While we were being shocked and thinking of what to do, the 3am ferry ran out of seats... SO 3.30am here we go. Can't believe we survived it. Played stupid games etc to while our time away...

Reached Central early and decided to go to Lin Heung tea house for dimsum at 6am. Seriously who eats breakfast at that time?!

Old school dimsum at 6am with all the old people. Place with the most dirty utensils ever. The steamed egg cake is good. So is the lotus paste bun which contains salted egg yolk nomnom. Didn't try the custard bun, har gow and siew mai. I will be back for it, I think? :)

Tim Ho Wan on Wednesday

Tim Ho Wan again! Wanted to eat at Kam Wah instead but they ran out of bolo buns :( HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN. Tim Ho Wan at Shamshuipo which is the main branch and hence there is no queue at all. People who spent like hours queuing for TimHoWan in SG, too bad for you all hahaha. Anw I finally managed to try the glutinous rice yaaaay :) Pretty good :D

Steamboat buffet on Thursday

The Hall tutor brought us to HIPOT at Jordan for steamboat buffet and it was only around $8SGD for lunch omgggg. I mean there wasn't that much variety and everything but still fish and beef slices ^^ Worth it hehehe.

麻辣soup hehe.

Then went for dessert at Honeymoon dessert which was normal and there's outlets of that in SG which wasn't fantastic as well :(

Kam Wah on Sunday

Awesome bolo bun with butter ^^ SO HUGE AND CRISPY CRUST for HKD8 :)

Headed back earlier to cook dinner with the rest of the exchange people hehe. More like wash and cut vegetables only oops.

SUPER HAPPY TO SEE ALL THE FRIED BROCCOLI HEHEHE.
