Week 18
So Week 16 and part of week 17 was happily spent in Taiwan hmm.. Here to blog about part of my 17th and 18th week in HK while I am sitting at my desk in Singapore (sadly or not so sadly haha)
30th April- 4th May
Mak's Noodles at Jordan
Meet wanton noodles from Mak's noodles. Not very good sadly.
Takeabreak cafe for desserts on 5th May, Monday
Went to the noodle stall at Prince Edward to eat the huge bowl of noodles again. Really really love the 酸辣 taste!! And then after that we decided to have desserts. Off to Takeabreak which looks so small haha. Really damn little seats.
Here's my large face with strawberry waffles omnomnom.
Ordered their honey latte even though it was at night cause that was their specialty drink but nahhh, too sweet for my liking. But cute teddy bear :)
Butao Ramen for the second time before Cheung Chau trip on 6th May, Tuesday
Having the green edition now. Tasted kind of funny though haha, seaweed (?) and cheese?
Company of the day :)
Lots of shops selling huge buns for bun scrambling competition ^^
Bun scrambling competition! But it's all fake plastic buns cause they don't want to waste food haha
Sinmei Tea and Kau Kee beef noodles at Sheung Wan/Central on 7th May, Wednesday
Ice cream, matcha sauce (?) and matcha brownie. Really quite shiok ^^ My favourite dish among all those we ordered :)
My matcha drink. Didn't really like this cause it was too bitter I think!
Matcha lava cake! Was really looking forward to this, but sadly it didn't really flow oh well :(
Kau Kee's curry beef noodles
Normal beef noodles
The soup and the tendons were amazingggg. Think I ate damn a lot of beef in HK HAHA.
Food hunt along Hung Hom on 8th/9th May
Jap curry with pork cutlet which was not bad :)
Dinner at EXP at Festival Walk on 10th May, Saturday
A few days before my finals and hence we stayed in to study. Sick of school food, we decided to try this EXP restaurant at Festival Walk cause it has many likes on openrice haha.
Squid ink spaghetti with scallop and roe. Kind of like the roe hehe.
Ate this, ordered another pizza to share among five of us. And had Haagen Daz ice cream for dessert LOL. Rum & raisin yaaay. And tried some caramel thing which was damn sweet but good hehe.
San Hing dimsum, met at 7.30am on 11th May, Sunday
This place was famous for liushabao haha that supposedly Eason Chan loves it.
Ordered dishes like har kow, siew mai, charsaobao, chicken feet (cause I like it and in the end I was forced to finish everything cause no one ate it sighhh) which was normal.
Shall come up with another post about Week 19 and Week 20 soon :)
