I wish the title is true. Can't believe I see someone tweeting about how she is looking forward to studying. Wtf seriously. Nvm, moving on to happier things.

Things I have accomplished this summer! :)

1. Visit USS- checked :) So happy that there was a sale in NTU and that we went there on the first Monday of my summer holidays. Love the adrenaline rush, love the company too.

2. Learn how to drive- Yesss passed BTT (stupid e-trial that freaked us out) and passed FTT too.

3. Watch TVD and the channel U drama haha - TVD checked, too lazy to go Xinmsn to watch the drama hahahaa.

4. Read some books.
(Storyteller by Jodi Picoult, For One More Day and Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, Delirium by Lauren Oliver)

5. Finally get to swim- Almost forgot how awesome swimming can be. But tanlines can be slightly ugly if they are longer than your shorts :( NO not my shorts short, the tanline really longer than FBTs.

6. Check out tulipmania at gardens by the bay- Haha headed to Gardens by the Bays twice!!! Once for tulips, once for CIP. Really love how flowers smell. But tulips still better than the flowers exhibition in June.
Awesome company at Gardens by the Bay. Pardon my fat legs

Mandatory jumpshots for places with space teehee

7. Get a job- Checked. Worked for one month at Tokio Marine, really preferred AXA though. The welfare at AXA was (Y) FREE FRUITS. But glad that I could eat lunch with Jia Hui everyday ^^

8. Finally stop being lazy and maybe bake something hahaha- Made pizza hmm.

9. Tried Paris Baguette's royal pudding and some of their pastries. Was not bad but I felt that it was overrated :(

Okay didn't manage to try the list of cafes I wanted to try and still haven't go to Timbre!! Already thinking of things to do during the break! Must try some of the cafes the next time when I am free!

Other worthy mentions:

1. Changed my spectacles
2. Headed to KL with friends (shall maybe blog about this soon and upload the limited number of photos)

Good nighttt. And AB0602, you really suck.

Will miss reading during the holidays. Love how the words in the books and certain songs make so much sense.

Finished reading For One More Day, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Storyteller and Delirium this holiday :) Actually read some Catherine Lim book too but I can't remember the title oops. Really love the rest of the books I read this holiday. For One More Day and Tuesdays with Morrie were so inspiring, like really make you think about whether you are doing what you really want. The Storyteller was so omg, so proud of Jodi Picoult now hehe. It was more of justice vs mercy I guess. Delirium was like some tragic love story which takes place in somewhat futuristic society. Just finished it and was crying when I read the last two pages SIGHHH.

"You need to keep people close. You need to give them access to your heart."

"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half asleep, even when they’re busy doing things they think are important. This is because they are chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

"Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn’t. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted."

"I realize that i do believe in people. In their strength to help each other, and to thrive in spite of the odds. I believe that the extraordinary trumps the ordinary, any day. I believe that having something to hope for- even if it’s just a better tomorrow- is the most powerful drug on this planet."

"But forgiving isn’t something you do for someone else. It’s something you do for yourself. It’s saying, you’re not important enough to have a stranglehold on me. It’s saying, you don’t get to trap me in the past. I am worthy of a future."

"It's so strange how life works: You work something and wait and wait and feel like it's taking forever to come. Then it happens and it's over and all you want to do is curl back up in the moment before things changed. "

"I know that life isn't life if you just float through it. I know the whole point- the only point- is to find the things that matter, and hold on to them, and fight for them, and refuse to let them go."

"You have to go forward: It's the only way. You have to go forward no matter what happens. This is the universal law. "

Shall start on The Casual Vacancy later today. And hopefully I get to swim too :) Oh kind of want to read Lang Leav's work, The Timekeeper and try reading John Green's books.

Oh anyway found Lady Antebellum's When You Got A Good Thing. HOW SWEET. Play this at my wedding if it ever happens HAHA. Okay too much sugar (ice cream and sweets and maybe cause it's too late at night) okay good nightttt.

One week flew past again omg. Okay tried Starbucks' dark mocha white chocolate pudding, read Jodi Picoult's The Storykeeper and went for Marketing camp in the past week.

Dark mocha white chocolate pudding sounds so delicious but it seriously wasn't nice. Luckily I waited for one for one HAHA. I feel so smart for guessing that Starbucks would surely have a one for one promotion for a new drink. I think the best limited edition (is that the right word) drink definitely is Salted Caramel Mocha SIGHHH. They should just serve it instead of coming up with the white chocolate pudding mehhhh. Or serve christmas drinks all year around. I WOULD BE SO HAPPY HEHE.

Moving on to Jodi Picoult. After reading the book, I was like "omg omg I so proud to be a fan of Jodi Picoult". HAHA even though I guessed the ending AHA. Read too much of her books and hence I understand how she loves to give some twisted endings.

Marketing Camp ended yesterday. Two days one night camp and it was the most chillax camp ever. Had five hours of sleep and had BBQ where the seniors serve us. LIKE WOW. And the goodie bag damn awesome. Laniege skincare and MBD masks. YAY. It was supposed to mask only but I managed to convince the guys that they don't need the masks HAHAHA. After breaking camp, I went to Changi Village for the first time. (Okay noob) And tried the famous Nasi Lemak. Okay good job ._. Throat going to die already.

Driving lesson today and thanks to my throat, I coughed till my face turned red ._. Okay I lost count of the number of lessons I had already, but glad to announce that I am really feeling more confident these days :) Even though I almost crashed into a car today omg thank goodness I wasn't driving alone haha.

Shall go and watch some Youtube videos while waiting for nails to dry. Love the colour combination hehehe, self praise. Okay bye.

Summer holidays are really coming to an end soon. :( Really going to miss these days when I can bum around at home doing nothing cause the next holidays I will be probably doing my internship sigh pie. Extremely unwillingly to start school cause I have to meet new people again, I am like super antisocial SIGHHH. Projects arghhh.

Marketing camp next weekend (I feel so antisocial), NBS welcome day on 5th August, heading to KL from 6th to 9th August. And then dreadful school beginning on 12th. Add/drop period. Time to get my modules. Arghhh bloody course registration. I wonder which idiot actually showed his or her appreciation to them. Okay maybe I am an unappreciative person.

Well between the last time I posted anything here and now, I watched Despicable Me 2, tried Paris Baguette at Wisma (only tried pudding the last time), passed FTT :) Despicable Me was quite funny but quite a lot of people felt that the first was better oh well. Anything with Agnes has to be good. She's so cuteee.

Paris Baguette was quite overhyped in my opinion. Erm the seafood chowder bread bowl was hard, the white chocolate pastry was forgettable. I like the crumble for the Queen's muffin which was actually some blueberry muffin. Love blueberries woohoo. Bacon roll was quite unique. Egg in it. Ordered Cappuccino to compare the taste here to the one in Korea hahaha. Oh well, it only cost $4 in Korea but $6 here. Not worth it. Starbucks much more worth it. I guess Huggs still have the best coffee in terms of affordability and it really taste good (if you really like coffee, since Starbucks is like erm sweet)

Queen's Muffin, Sweet Bacon Roll (and white chocolate puff and tiramisu in the background)

Shopping in Town on a weekday is so shiokkk, all the school kids in school ahaha. Finally got a blazer from G2000 for like $39 :) Always looking out for discounts hehe.

Okay I was at town yesterday haha. Was supposed to try Wild Honey (Eggs Benedict!) but the queue was longgg, so I tried Maison Kaysers which was not bad. I really like the fact the prices on the menu already included the GST and service charge so you don't have to take out your phone to calculate it haha.

Set lunch plus a bowl of soup for $11.40 and I became really full. Surprise surprise.

And then for dinner... I had dimsum again. Really want to go Tim Ho Wan the next time I go for dimsum LOL. Ate like $20 worth of dimsum whatttttt. HAHA really sat down there, spam tea and eat and eat. Finally tried the mango pudding, logan pudding and mango pomelo thing.

Okay shall go off to read some book BYEEEEEE.

First week of unemployment and I am feeling slightly bored at home. Didn't bother initiating many outings cause I know soon I will be broke. One month of pay only sighhh and driving is so expensive. So I have decided to spend most of my days at home.

On Monday I headed out and checked out JEM. Quite cool to have some town-like shops in the west but I still love Orchard more. The smell of the air at Orchard, the Ion food hall with my awesome tako balls (woohoo), the ability to walk to Somerset etc are things that Jurong East can't really have. As for now. Caught World War Z, the adrenaline rush during the movie was good (Y) but there were loopholes and the ending was bad where they attempted to sound deep..Okay, can. Oh before movies, had Ambush for lunch. Making use of lunch offers where everyone was at work/school woohoo. Someday must try other food other than paella. Too risk averse hahaha. Ohhh was supposed to try Paris Baguette but the queue was really crazy. D: OHWELL. Anw I bought something for H&M for the first time. SHOES WOOHOO. Their shoes were pretty good. Maybe should buy the other pair sooooon.

Driving lessons on Tuesday. SO COOL. Drove the car to Sembawang to do my errands and then drove home. With the instructor of course. How cool to run errands with a car.

Then followed by more bumming around at home. And I watched Hansel and Gretel: The Witch Hunters. Gemma Arterton is so hottttt. Okay bumming around includes sleeping for like 10 hours but still feeling sleepy and then taking a nap.

I tried to exercise anyway. New obsession with this video channel which produces videos on workouts that celebrities do. Victoria Secret workout is reallyyy omg. Leg muscles. Tried some core strengthening. ARGHHH weak core. Can't do proper planks. Expecting more aches :(

And Friday (today or should it be yesterday)  STARS warsss. DAMN IT. Didn't manage to add any cores in my first round and in the end I only got 11AUs, wtf. Have to depend on add drop period. Seriously the in-charge deserves a slap ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Okay time for sleep. Tired from all this STARS shitz. And maybe go walk around later today, get some food and make some food finally ^^

This weather is so freaking crazy. It's so horribly warm, the haze and the amount of particles in the air is like horrifying. Throat has been feeling so itchy, spamming honey for the past few days. Probably should be spamming more water though.

Okay there's nothing much to share about except for the fact that my money has been flying awayyyyy and I have been eating quite good food OHWELL. And glad to have meet up with some people ever since holidays started. The perks of being an University student, you don't have to catch up with school work. :)

Okay new food that I tried in the past month, first up- Ramen from Watami. Haha randomly suggested it for Lek's birthday ohwell. Anw the ramen wasn't that good. High expectations about Japanese eggs. Those runny egg yolks hehe. But Watami's one was like going to be fully hard boiled already MEHHH. But the service was pretty good. Except that the guy was damn epic. Giving us plates before the cake is out HAHA. SURPRISE FAILED OHWELL.

HAHA nothing much happened during the week other than Saturday chilling with Rebecca. Cotton On's sale is seriously mehhhh :( Uniqlo cute shirts, yes I finally know what is Suzy's zoo. And fattening hot fudge sundae and mousse cake thank you!

Sunday was Swee Choon with Lek and Wah. Celebrating Father's Day with my friends er haha. Bad choice to go there on a weekend. Farrer Park that stretch of road is seriously the WORST road to drive on. Worse than Orchard I swear.

Tried new food this time :) Sichuan Chilli Oil Wanton wasn't bad :) Banana and prawn fritter was kind of weird. So is the banana, red bean and egg white thing. HAHA blame it on their bananas. Somehow the banana taste can't blend well with the prawn, red bean or whatever thing they try to mix with. But I kind of like the egg white. WEIRD LIKING FOR EGG WHITES. Liu sha bao was good as usual but egg tarts seem to get worse each time I eat it. NOOOO I won't order it anymore. Oh I tried Red Velvet Cocoa and Chai tea from CBTL. Ahhh, should chill at there someday and try their new drinks hehe.

I realised that my tanline can be seen in this photo LOL. And why my eyes so small ARGHHH. Need some contacts that make my eyes bigger.

HI HELLO KITTY

Feel so old each time I realised how long it has been since I graduated from NJ. :O Not that I miss doing A levels, but still I think it's great knowing the two of you haha.

As for this week, I have been eating good food too LOL. Colleagues been buying food to work (WOW). Cakes and some egg white snacks on Monday, Tuesday went for Korean buffet and then Wednesday (today) I had free curry puff and J.Co donuts. FAT DIE ME.

Korean BBQ at Ssikkek at Chinatown :D HAHA so funny to see all of us spamming meat and how certain people's food is always uncooked. LOLLL. HAHA among all the meat there, I only love the chicken HEHE. And maybe bacon ohwell. SO HAPPY TO SEE KIMCHI THOUGH. Miss my Korea days eating good food. Anw it would be better if they included icecream as part of their buffet thing lor. Selling melon icecream at $1 SIGH PIE.

Okay quite happy to have known them in my uni life. Sem 2 was so much better than sem 1 cause I don't have to move around between classes, seeing many different people for different classes. I wonder if it affected my mood. Haha, slightly happier in Sem 2. I am serious. SIGH TIMETABE FOR YEAR 2.

Anw, I walked from Tanjong Pagar to Outram park without getting horribly lost :D OMG ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED. JANE CAN READ A MAP OMG. Despite the haze, the walk wasn't that bad. Love all the shophouses. Wanna explore the area someday :)

Lunch today at Amoy again. Steamed rice with chicken and mushrooms :) And then tea from some level 1 stall. Prefer this tea to Rafee's Corner one. Tea taste well blended with milk taste (Y)

OH I WAS SO DEPRESSED AFTER LUNCH CAUSE OF TWO THINGS. Number 1, I finished my work as quickly as I could to have the chance to explore the highest level to realise it's out of bound wthhhhh. Number 2, I pulled up the blinds since I have a window seat (and I love view of CBD) to realise I can't see anything not cause of the haze but the logo was directly outside my window. DEPRESSING.

Brighter side of the day, gym finally. But ran really slow. 15 mins to finish 2.4km OH WELL. And I was too lazy to do anything else so I paid $2.50 to run for twenty minutes. STUPID MUCH.

Okay good night, haze please maintain yourself. Improve lehhh. Rain rain please come nowww.

The past week had been really great even though all my money had been flying out of my pockets :O USS, managing to stuff contacts in, West Coast Park and catching up with Wahlim and Lek, breathing in Orchard air early in the morning (despite not getting to shop) and Gardens by the Bay. Wow, have to love life after exams. But then I really need a job I guess. Need to find ways to finance my spending and maybe save up for exchange. Really really want to leave here for a while.

Okay USS was really quite fun. Day packed with adrenaline hahaha. First time going on a rollercoaster with 360 degrees inversion wow. So proud of us. Going on Cylon and Human twice, #achievementunlocked hehe. Well I actually think Revenge of the Mummy is scarier. OH WELL. Transformers was pretty good but the queue was really loooong haha. I really like the fire effects :D Well all the 4D effects were really good haha, was so freaked out by spiders during Shrek LOLLLLLLLLL. Okay really enjoyed all the rides in USS, and the lunch at the restaurant was not bad as well. At least we didn't eat the stupid $11 chicken rice.

Oh yeah kiddy rides after lunch to prevent us from puking our guts out HAHA. Carousel :D :D

HAHA guess who is the happiest from Sesame Street? Awesome company :)

Caught up with the two of them. West Coast Park seems so fun. Sigh how come I didn't visit there when I was much younger?! Koi again oops. Oh and self reminder there's going to be a new flavour! Should go like their page or something to get one free drink of their some mango drink LOL.

Oh on the same day I headed to Orchard for the recruit express. Hopefully I get some work soon. Working at SGH HAHA. My fetish for ... LOL. Oh bought royal pudding which I just ate. Omnomnom. Taste like emicakes though in terms of the creaminess (there's such a word?!) Okay not bad, really want to go back town in some morning and then chill at some cafe (like Paris Baguette) and then shop in the afternoon. And maybe eat my favourite tako, drink my happy lemon. Wow I shudder to think about the amount of food consumed HAHA.

OH AND I SPOILT MY FLATS. OOPS. New wedges. Should have bought flats cause I really cant walk in wedges. HI BLISTERS, how to swim?! :(

Gardens by the bay for the second time :) Now in the morning/afternoon and managed to visit the indoors area. I strongly recommend everyone to visit the cloud dome hehe. I mean just visit it once. Especially if you kind of like flowers and kind of like geography.

I mean there's a man-made waterfall there! I mean nothing compares to a natural waterfall, but if you are in Singapore, I guess er a 7 storey high man-made one is better than nothing?

No I didn't apply any cool effects, this plant really has yellow flowers among its greyish leaves.

Hi tulips. Oh well it's true you can always google for pictures but the sweet smell of tulips can't be found online haha. Really really want visit Holland and see rows and rows of tulips outdoors!

Okay had to rush towards the end but nvm I got to eat my Amoy food. Alone. OH WELL. Really was craving for my yongtaufoo but the stall closed for the day already! Nvm had my fishball noodles. Those who follow me on Twitter may have saw my tweet about how I dreamt I was queuing up for noodles. Erm yeah this is the stall with a kind of cute guy cooking the noodles.

YAY FISHBALL NOODLES :D :D :D But somehow the noodles itself doesn't taste as good. The texture was slightly weird OH WELL. But still the fishballs were good and erm I like eating lard so yeah...

Oh walked to get my Old Tea Hut and wth the queue was freaking loooooong. :( Patiently wait and wait and wait... For like 20 mins sian. OH WELL Gula Melaka Tea :)

Super long journey home. SIGH blistered feet still must give up seat cause I too kind-hearted. Good karma please. 31st May coming liaooo need all the luck and karma hahaha.

Okay good night. Should study hard for BTT, vroom vroom LOL.

HI SUMMER, maybe it's time to watch 500 Days of Summer instead. The exams weren't really good, OB and Biz Ops were damn wth. :( But nvm, say yay to being 1/3 done with university, can't wait to graduate, but I feel really old now.

Well well, Friday was such an unique day. First my bus kind of broke down when I was in school ._. Then I sat beside some guy who was so chillax throughout the econs paper (which I am now speculating it's his deliberate attempt to distract and bell curve people, ok I am lame). Ohhh but the best was having dinner at Swee Choon. Tried so many food for the first time hahaha cause we really ordered a lot. Omnomnom.

(Googled for the menu actually so I can remember what I ate. And then record it down to know what to order hahaha)

  1. Salted egg yolk custard bun. THE LOVE OF MY LIFE TEEHEE. Must order it everytime haha. Really like the idea of salted egg with like the quite soft skin. But sadly it only tastes good like hot. Can never take away :(
  2. Har Kow. I like how the prawn tastes, like quite fresh.
  3. Law Mai Kai. Not a fan of this in general. Anw the spelling looks really weird, but I copied it off the website.
  4. BBQ Pork Rice. Not a fan of this also. Haha.
  5. Beancurd Prawn Roll. I mean the prawn is nice, but I think the beancurd skin makes it a little too oily.
  6. Portuguese eggtart. Yum. But then I generally like egg tarts. Actually theirs is quite good but not the best I guess.
  7. Mee Suah Kueh. Oh my, so happy that I finally got to try this. Cause it really tastes quite good, Like crispy on the outside but the inside is like eating mee sua :D Being a mee sua lover, I obviously like it :)
  8. Baked BBQ pork pastry. Oh well, the only thing I like with baked pork hahaha. Not bad.
  9. Red bean paste pancake. Not a big fan of pancake haha.
  10. Sambal kang kong. I LIKE (Y) NOMNOMNOM.
Tim Ho Wan sounds so good, but I obviously wont be so hardworking to queue for it oh well.

Time to sleep. USS tmr ^^
